Michigan's Betsy DeVos, who resigned from her job as Secretary of Education in protest a day after the Jan. 6 Capitol riot, let it be known she was interested in reclaiming that post in the new Donald Trump Administration.
But she had conditions, MLive reports: She wanted the opportunity to shut down the department she would be leading and to push a federal tax credit supporting school choice.
But that won't be happening.
The Trump camp announced that the post will go to Linda McMahon, the former CEO of World Wrestling Entertainment and one of the chairs of his transition team.
